I was confused too. Let me explain the difference; and make it easier for you to understand in this very article.
Are Boohoo And Boohooman the Same?
A British fast-selling e-commerce clothing brand, Boohoo, was established in 2006. It was originally an offline retailer which sold plus-size women’s clothing under the umbrella of IKEA.
Their motive was to provide clothing strategies for all categories. Especially, it aimed at women who are conscious about fashion
It was the autumn of 2013, when Boohoo decided to expand and launch its first in-house collection aimed at men (took them almost a year to make it there)
Boohooman and Boohoo are NOT the same companies, in fact, Boohooman is a child brand of Boohoo.
They might offer different experiences to their customers BUT right now for newly-launched Boohooman we have to rely on the partner company’s reputation to gain any kind of insight into how this company operates.
The Sizing of Boohoo Items
Boohoo carries enough casual wear to easily satiate a lot of people’s needs. We all are witnesses of Boohoo’s meteoric rise.

The field they chose to play in might be a little tough one. Because designing clothes for all kinds of sizes is not as easy as it sounds.
It takes a lot more than we all can even imagine. It is almost the same as living on the edge.
Because you are never sure about the response you might get from the people. And there is always an uncertainty if the designs will actually fit or not?
Boohoo has also been playing and winning in this field.
So, it is within expected that their sizing might go here and there, which is understandable as long as they keep doing better and providing all the necessary compensation to their customers.
I mean after all, they are providing designer-level clothing at fast fashion rates. With that being said, let’s pay attention to the sizing guide on Boohoo’s website.
Their range includes sizes as big as 26 in jeans and 3XL in tops.
So if you are normal in-between size, my recommendation is that you go one size up because their items often run small in the size.
For instance, Boohoo shoes are said to run about half a size small. Similarly, their jeans run smaller in size.
The tops at Boohoo – the t-shirts, shirts, hoodies, crop tops, and practically everything else also run about one size small.
My only worry is the inconsistent sizing. It differs from product to product.
The same size with the same dimensions may appear to be different in different designs because the odds of the sizing matching up perfectly between different products, even in the same category, is very slim.
Boohoo’s Plus Size Review
As Boohooman is relatively new, we have to depend on the significant reviews available about the company’s parent brand Boohoo, which seem to be of mixed tone.
In fact, people seem to genuinely love Boohoo’s designs and the variety of sizes available there.
You might be dubious about ordering it at first because everything with this price seems fake.
But the majority of the customers have reviewed it as great. The quality, the price and the designs all satisfy customers.
So, if I were you, I would give it a shot for sure. But DON’T forget to order one size up in case you’re buying jeans since there may be slight variations in size there.
As for everything else which Boohooman and it’s parent brand Boohoo has to sell, the items are mostly all true to size.
Boohoo’s Customer Service: Blissful OR Awful?
The only thing bringing Boohoo down is their awful customer service. Seriously, they need to make this better.
Customers look so happy with their experience shopping at their website, but when they experience poor customer service, it’s understandable for them to get disappointed.
Their website does say that they offer their customers a refund policy as long as the items they have purchased still have all their tags in place and you still have the included returns label found on your delivery invoice, but honestly, refunding is also much of a hassle with them.
And it is all because of their subpar customer service. If I make a call to get assistance and get left hanging,
I would definitely get frustrated. No matter how good of a brand you are, and how outstanding your designs are, customer service is what really makes the customer fall in love with the experience.
Boohoo needs to look into this and plan a better way to deal with the people who have issues with their ordered sizing.

Boohooman is legitimately a decent brand that fits true to sizes, well, most of the time.
Otherwise, you just have to look keenly through the guidelines and order the size that you think will suit you the best. It comes with great prices, so it is quite a good deal indeed.
